Who we are

This website, rexfordco.ca, is operated by Rexford Drafting & Design Inc. ("Rexford", "we", "us"), 8465 Harvard Pl #16, Chilliwack, BC V2P 7Z5. We are a design and drafting studio serving British Columbia and Alberta. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA.

Information you give us

When you fill out an inquiry or quote form on this site, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, project location, and a description of your project. Our forms are hosted by Dubsado, the client management platform we use to respond to inquiries, send proposals, and manage projects. We use this information to answer your inquiry, assess fit, prepare a proposal, and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. We do not sell or rent your information.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use a small number of third-party tools that set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

• Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and general device and location information. Data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. We also record when someone clicks our phone number or email link so we can understand which pages lead to contact.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) lets us measure whether our advertising leads to inquiries and lets us show relevant ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you under its own privacy policy.
• Google Ads conversion measurement records when an inquiry is completed after clicking one of our ads, so we can evaluate our advertising.
• Vercel, our hosting provider, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and performance.

Embedded forms are served by Dubsado, and fonts are served by Google Fonts; each may receive your IP address in order to deliver those resources.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some analytics will not be recorded.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
• You can manage how Meta uses data from websites in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Ad Preferences and Off-Facebook Activity.
• You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or contractual retention requirements.

How long we keep information

Inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return to the project. Client project records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterward as required by professional, insurance, and tax obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Meta's standard retention settings.

Sharing and storage

We share personal information only with the service providers named above, and only so they can provide their services to us. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning building and design projects. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use personal information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
